Discover the requirements to apply for the Miss Africa United contest
The Miss Africa United contest, organized by the International Miss Africa Committee (IMAC), celebrates unity, cultural diversity, and the empowerment of young women from Africa, the Afro-descendant diaspora, and Melanesian communities.
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements in accordance with the official regulations. Any incomplete application or false information will be rejected.
To attest identity, nationality, and age (18-28 as of December 31 of the contest year).
To verify age and, if needed, origin.
For current holders of a national or community Miss title or runner-up, an official certificate from the organizing committee is required.
For candidates selected via approved modeling agencies or preliminaries, extra documents proving their link with eligible communities.
Applicants must pay the fee set by IMAC. These fees are non-refundable except for force majeure as recognized by the organization.
Applicants must submit proof of payment (receipt, bank confirmation) with their application file.
Details about the amount and payment instructions will be shared by IMAC or the relevant national committee.
Be single, without dependent children and not pregnant at the time of the application and for the duration of the contest.
Maintain an unblemished reputation and have no serious criminal record (e.g. conviction for major crime).
No major cosmetic transformations altering original appearance/identity. Minor procedures must be declared but are not grounds for exclusion.
All information provided must be accurate or risk immediate disqualification.
Available from IMAC or national committees, including all personal data (name, date of birth, contacts, etc.).
A high quality portrait and full-length photo, highlighting presentation and elegance.
A brief summary of the applicant's motivations, connection with the contest values, and community/origin.
A succinct CV highlighting awards, career or community achievements enhances the application.
Applicants selected via a modeling agency must provide a letter or certificate from the agency, confirming their endorsement.
If a contestant is selected via a local contest organized by IMAC, an official certificate is required.
Applicants from the Americas or other specific communities must provide evidence of African or Melanesian descent.

The International Miss Africa Committee (IMAC) is solely authorized to validate applications. Any false statement or incomplete file will be rejected.
Gather all required documents (passport, birth certificate, certificates, photos) in a clear and organized format, preferably PDF for electronic submission.
Contact IMAC or the national committee to obtain payment instructions (amount, account, deadlines). Keep proof of payment.
Applicants of specific ethnic groups must show a documented link with those communities, especially if no official title.
