| WHY ATLANTA, USA FOR ITS 1st EDITION?

City of atlanta
Atlanta, the capital of the State of Georgia, USA, has several historical and other assets that make it an ideal location for the first edition. Let me explain... Symbol of the civil rights struggle for men of color, birthplace of the Rev. Martin Luther King, it is also the cradle of gospel music. Cradle of gospel music with African roots, and homet o some of the biggest names in American hip-hop. In addition, Atlanta is the American city that has seen the strongest social emergence of members of the African American community. For the reasons given above, we believe that this first edition will reconnect the whole of Africa with its components, including the mother country to Afro-descendants and Africans born there.

| HOW DOES IT WORK?

multi-ethnic mannequins
The candidates, current Misses from fifty-four African countries, as well as from other countries of the world with Misses of African origin, i.e. Amazigh, Arabs of Africa, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Melanesian, African-Asians, Negro-Africans, African Americans and Euro-Africans, are eligible to become IMAC(International Miss Africa Committee)However, due to the minority nature of African communities in the Americas (North, Central and Latin America) Miss Black America or Miss Black USA, are eligible to compete and represent their respective countries. For example, if we were faced with a particular situation where, in the same country where Africans are in the minority in the same country where Africans are in the minority, we will draw lots to determine who will represent the country. However, the draw can be avoided if the other candidates withdraw.

SCENARIO

National Selection

Each country usually organizes its own national pageant to select the contestant who will represent the country in the international competition. This national pageant may be run by a national beauty organization, an event production company, or a government agency

Registration

Young women who are interested in competing in their country's Miss International pageant can apply by submitting their application to the national pageant organization. This can be done online through a registration form or at local auditions.

Preliminary

Once all the applications have been received, the national pageant organizers conduct a preliminary round to select the contestants who will move on to the next stages of the competition. This preliminary screening may be based on criteria such as physical appearance, charisma, intelligence, and community involvement.

Preliminary Events

Pre-selected candidates may participate in a series of preliminary events such as photo shoots, interviews, fashion shows, and training sessions to prepare for the national competition.

Final Event

The national competition culminates in a grand finale event where the finalists perform in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. Finalists are judged in a variety of events, including swimsuit and evening gown catwalks, question-and-answer sessions and artistic performances.

Selection of the winner

At the end of the final event, a winner is crowned and awarded the title of Miss [Country]. She will then become the official representative of her country in the Miss Africa United pageant.

Once each country has selected its national representative, the contestants submit their applications to the Miss Africa United pageant. There they are judged on similar criteria at a final event to determine the winner of the pageant. This process allows us to select the most qualified and worthy candidates to represent their country on an international level, while providing an enriching and rewarding experience for all participants.
